Gone for 5 weeks...

Yes. I will be gone for 5 weeks. I won't be back till October 17th. It is kinda a long story, but one of the biggest reasons is because school is SO much harder this year and I have a TON of homework I just need to take a break from blogging, Instagram and Twitter.

Sorry if I don't read your blogs, I will be on email so you can email me if you have any questions....

When I get back I will hopefully:

- get into a rhythm with school

- have a new blog design

- have greater posts and more followers

- have a sponsorship bar :)

Life, Life, Life... {I am Still Here}

Ok Yall.. I am SUPER sorry about the absence. It has been way too long, but I do have a good excuse!

First it was the quilt show... then SCHOOL!

Yes the dreadful word. The word everyone hates. The word that you hope doesn't get brought up.

Any way yes I have been doing school, and let me tell ya. Eleventh Grade his harder and Busier!

I haven't had time to sit down and blog..

This week I am going to TRY get the pictures of my quilt show posted! I will tel you it went well, and I am happy :)

Also I am going to talk about Sponsoring this blog for October!! So PLEASE stick with me here, I don't mean to be absent. Contact my teacher if you really have a problem :)

Sewing like the Wind....

Just here to tell you... I might be quiet on the blog this week because....

I am SEWING LIKE THE WIND!

The quilt gild I am in is having it's Annual Quilt Show this Weekend!!

I have been busy finishing off the quilt I am entering AND getting ready to do the presentations for the Vintage Bed Turning :)

If yall want to spend a great weekend up in the mountains, then come on up and check out the quilt show!

It is going to be fun :) I will be there all day both days so say "hi" to me!

Even though it is September....

Happy September Yall! I have had a busy Weekend!

On Saturday I helped a friend move to Charlotte. And Yesterday I worked my butt of to get all my quilts done :)

On Friday I went outside in our garden and just took some pictures of the pretty flowers and plants growing.

Freezing Toes, Cold Nose, Hot Sun

 

 

I know these pictures don't have anything to do with freezing toes, cold noses, or hot sun but I liked them so here they are!
Well on to the freezing toes.. last weekend we went to the creek and got: freezing toes, cold noses and felt the hot sun.

You might ask how does a hot sun and freezing toes go together. Well here is the story.

Life has been grand and the weather has too! It has been 75 degrees this last half of August with the nights getting down to 55 degrees! Now that is pretty dang cool, I was kinda thinking that fall was in the air!

But alas the summer side of me still wanted to swim, so last weekend of to the creek we went!

My mind said go in but my body would budge. When I finally worked up the courage to touch the water I only went up to my waist.

Then it was out of the water and reading in the sun for me.

The verdict....

We still had a great time, my mom and I napped and read in the sun. My brothers and sisters played in the sand and splashed around. And my dad Watched us all.

We are going again this weekend because guess what!! The weather is back in the 85 degrees days. Guess it changed it's mind :)
